While our area legislators have already been sworn in and working, they will be holding several events this weekend.

Both Senator Tom Tiffany and Assembleywoman Mary Czaja were officially sworn in last month in Madison.

Tomorrow the two will hold a pair of swearing in ceremonies in the their district. The first will be held in Antigo at their City Hall at 1:30. Then they will head to Merrill for a similar event at the TB Scott Free Library at 3:00. The two will be accompanied by State Supreme Court Justice Patience Roggengsack.

Tiffany is serving his first term as State Senator after taking the seat after Jim Holperin decided not to seek re-election. Czaja ran for Tiffany’s former assembly seat and won her first term.
