The Lincoln County Humane society continues to receive strong contributions from residents in the northwoods.

In the new year, donations were made in memory or honor of a loved one. Those 17 donations helped bring in $1,400. In addition to that, they have also received can donations totalling $2,300 in support according to their website.

Those donations coupled with memberships at $4,500 and additional building fund donations bring totals nearing $20,000.

Coming up in March the Humane Society will be holding a Fur-Ball. The event will include fun, games, live music and raffles. Tickets are on sale at the Humane Society.
