Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Late last week an employee from a Tomahawk business contacted police about a man suspected of stealing alcohol. After watching surveillance video, they observed the man taking 3 cans of alcohol. Police went to the suspect’s residence and arrested the 25 year old man on a charge of habitual retail theft. He was taken to the Lincoln County Jail.

An officer stood by at a residence regarding a custody issue. While accompanied with the officer the child exchange had no reported issues.

A man called police reporting continued calling with harassment and threats from an Oak Creek woman. At one point more than 100 calls were made. Tomahawk officers contacted Oak Creek Police and charges of harassment and unlawful use of a phone will be forwarded to the District Attorney against the 53 year old woman.

Two separate people were taken into custody over the weekend. The first had a warrant through Rock County. The second was found to be in violation of restrictions. Madison probation and Parole placed a hold and the woman was brought in. Both of the suspects were transferred to the Lincoln County Jail.

An officer stood by after responding to a crash on CC. When the officer arrived at the scene, it was determined to be outside of the city limits. He waited with lights on, until a county deputy arrived.
