Officials have now confirmed the identity of the two victims from Tuesday mornings fire in Oneida County.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s office says that based on forensic autopsies, the two human remains have been identified as 53 year old Kaye M. Juel and 55 year old Mark J. Juel.

Fire crews were initially called to the home on Lakewood road in the town of Cassian at just before 4:30 Tuesday morning. The home was fully engulfed in flames when fire fighters arrived.

The Juel’s were the homeowners. Kaye worked as the Oneida County Jail administrator.
