Lincoln County will once again be offering the Strong Women, Strong Bones Program this spring.
According to Interim Lincoln County Family Living Educator, The Strong Women program includes weight training, flexibility and balance activities, which are effective for women and men of all ages. In fact, people with health concerns such as arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and back pain will often benefit the most from an exercise program such as this.
Strong Women programs are offered through a partnership between Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center and UW-Extension. Strong Bones classes meet for 1 hour twice a week for 10 weeks at Ministry Good Samaritan.
For registration information, Contact Amanda Kostman at the Lincoln County UW-Extension Office at 715-539-1080.
