City of Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Officers made a traffic stop on North 4th street. The 20 year old male driver was cited for driving with a suspended registration and a criminal charge of operating without a driver’s license, second offense within 3 years.

Over the weekend officers stopped a vehicle on traveling on North 4th without headlights. The 19 year old male driver was cited for improper display of plates and operating without a valid driver’s license. The vehicle was parked and the license plate’s were confiscated.

There was a 2 vehicle accident on Southgate drive Saturday with reportable damage. Neither of those involved were injured. A Rhinelander woman will be cited for unsafe backing and for operation without a license.

A woman contacted police early Sunday morning reporting a male pounding on doors and screaming. The 18 year old was determined to be intoxicated and was cited for underage alcohol consumption.

An employee at an area establishment called police reporting a man that took cups from the business and ran out. As the employee followed the man to the parking lot his vehicle fishtailed and he struck her. The suspect was from Wausau and information was sent to the Wausau Police Dept. and the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office.
