Five people were sent to the hospital after an accident in Lincoln County.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at just after 3 near Merrill. The two vehicles collided on Scott Road just north of Joe Snow Road.

According to the Sheriff’s report, the driver’s of both vehicles, along with three passengers, were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for minor crash related injuries. Two of those passengers were children

Deputies continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
