Officials have now identified the man who was found dead in Rib Mountain State Park.

On Tuesday evening, two snowshoers came across the body of the man in the park in Marathon County. The victim had also been been snowshoeing. Authorities believe that 49 year old Mark Welsh died of a heart attack.

After he was found, he was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
