Partnering with area law enforcement, the Tomahawk School District participated in a planned “lock down” drill yesterday.
Members of the Tomahawk Police Department and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office were a part of the drill. Law enforcement officials worked one on one with each of the school administrator during the “lock down” training session.
A letter will be coming home with elementary students explaining more about the drill, allowing parents to talk with their children about it.
Coming up next Tuesday District Administrator Roger Rindo will be a guest on the forum, where they will discuss this topic in addition to the most recent school board meeting.
