Coming up tomorrow, the DNR will host the first of 11 public meetings in the northern region related to the white-tailed deer herd.
Tomorrows meeting will take place at the Woodruff Town Hall starting at 6. Wildlife biologists will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the status of the herd in northern counties. They will also take input on deer numbers and management strategies. Coming up next week there will be a meeting taking place in Merrill as well.
The School District of Tomahawk will meet this afternoon at 5:00 in the High School Library. Their agenda includes a status update and presentation on RtI and PBIS implementation, plus approval of the annual field trip to Trees for Tomorrow for elementary students.

The Lincoln County Board of Supervisors will meet this evening here in Tomahawk. Tonight’s meeting will begin at 6:00 the William Buedingin Training Center. In addition to regular reports, the meeting agenda includes: the landfill expansion citing agreement, purchase of a truck chassis and equipment, a resolution upholding the 2nd amendment, and amending the ATV routes.
