City of Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Late last week, an officer was called to the school complex for a disruptive student. That student was eventually taken to the police department to be picked up by a parent. The student was also issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

On Thursday evening an officer performed a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, a 20 year old male, was driving while revoked. Following a field sobriety test and an alcohol level of .09, the driver was taken into custody for a second operating while intoxicated. Probation and Parole placed a hold on the man and he was transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

Police were called to an incident at an area motel involving multiple people. The individuals were reportedly pushing, shoving and yelling. No official action was taken, and those involved were advised to go to bed for the evening.

An apartment resident on Timm Street indicated a deadbolt broken and suspect gained access to the home. The resident said that nothing appeared missing. Several other tenants indicated similar incidents. Officers are investigating the burglary and a suspect.

On Saturday evening, an officer was called to a Tomahawk business for an altercation. The incident involved two women. They, along with witnesses, said that there was no physical contact, only verbal.
