Now that spring is supposedly here, we’ll start to update the area reservoir levels from Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company.
Following the annual winter draw down, water is once again returning to fill our lakes prior to the summer recreation season.
The Eau Plaine is nearly full, coming up 10 feet since April 1. The Spirit is also rising quickly now at around below 3 feet down.
The reservoirs further north are also coming up at a slightly slower pace. The Rice/Lake Nokomis is 6 feet down, the Willow is around 8 feet below full and the Rainbow is 10 feet down.
Just last month each of the reservoirs was between 9 and 12 feet below full.
