The Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation will be hosting their seventh annual Community Health and Wellness Fair this weekend.
Tomorrow morning’s event will feature free clinical screenings provided by the Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation, Ministry Medical Group, and Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital. Scheduled screenings will include cholesterol screening, diabetes screening, PSA prostate screening, blood pressure screening, balance screenings, breast health exam, skin screening, pulse oximetry and body mass index screening.
Appointments are not necessary and the FREE screenings are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cholesterol patients must be 18 years of age and older.
New Foundation Director Jesse Bolder says he is looking forwarded to interacting with the community while providing free health services. He added, “Being informed about your health care and the services offered locally is the most important step you can take for living a healthy and active life.”
During the event, the Community Blood Center hosts a blood drive and the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry will be collecting donations. There will also be a series of seminars in the cafeteria ranging from weight loss to golf. The Community Link Health Access department will be hosting two, “Power of Attorney for Health Care” sessions in classroom four.
Those events all take place tomorrow at Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital from 8-noon.
