While this generousity is not new, an area Children’s Museum is always grateful when it receives this contribution.
Marshfield Clinic recently made another donation to the Northwoods Children’s Museum in Eagle River, to help the museum continue its mission to enrich lives, support families and encourage a love of learning through play.
Jill Brunstad, a physician assistant at Marshfield Clinic Eagle River said about the museum, “It’s amazing that (it) has been open for more than 15 years and hosted more than 500,000 guests.”
Dr. Diane Hrdina, a family medicine physician says the Clinic continues to support the museum because it is such a positive part of life for Northwoods families.
The museum started with 13 static exhibits and has grown to 23 exhibits, five historic adventures, weekly craft workshops, preschool adventure programming, monthly Fun with Fathers, regular theme changes, and youth, high school and adult volunteering programs.
There is a monthly special needs program that has become extremely popular.
