With warm weather in the forecast and Spring Cleaning underway, the city of Tomahawk will offer a way to dispose of unwanted household items.
Coming up tomorrow morning the city will host their first “Spring Dumpster Days.” The event will be similar to the annual event held each fall here in the city. When discussing it at a recent city meeting, organizers spoke of the success of the fall event and suggested trying a spring one as well.
Tomahawk High School Students will be on hand to assist the event put on by the city and Eagle Waste. Those taking advantage of the free services offered will have to show proof of city residence.
The service provided to city residents will accept large items such as couches, chairs etc… Tomahawk Iron and Scrap will take washing machines, stoves and dryers at no cost. Anyone, including non-city residents 0wishing to drop off electronics will pay a fee from $10 for microwaves up to $25 for large TV’s.
Spring Dumpster Days will take place at the City Garage tomorrow morning from 9-noon.
