Speaking of the fishing opener, anglers on the area reservoir system are seeing increased water levels.
According to charts from Wisconsin Valley Improvement the reservoirs that aren’t already full are heading in that direction. At the southern edge of the chain, the Eau Plaine has been within a foot of full for the past two week. The Spirit is just over a foot down.
Nokomis has come up nearly 8 feet the past month. It is now 1.5′ below full. The Willow has also come up around 7 feet in that same time and is currently about 4 feet from full.
Finally, the Rainbow is 5’ down.
