Tomahawk School District Superintendent Roger Rindo has accepted an offer to become the superintendent of the Oconomowoc Area School District.
Upon accepting that position, Rindo has submitted his resignation to the Tomahawk Board of Education. Rindo, who has been with the Tomahawk district for five years, will begin in Oconomoc July 1.
School board president Pete Wurl says, “Dr. Rindo’s excellent leadership and thoughtful implementation of our strategic directions over the last 5 years have positioned the district nicely.” He says Dr. Rindo has been a tremendous asset and they wish him the best.
He added that they will seek a new leader that will continue implementation of established practices while providing new, creative insight. That search begins immediately with the position posted. The timeline includes interviews in and final decision by June so the district doesn’t experience a vacancy.
