Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Officers took a 41 year old man into custody at a Tomahawk residence. The man was wanted on a warrant through the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office. After he was taken into custody, an exchange with an Oneida County deputy was arranged.

A citizen observed a grass fire located just off of Bowen St. that was heading for the tree line. The fire department was contacted, but the officer was able to extinguish the fire prior to firefighter’s arrival.

A Tomahawk teen received a warning for disorderly conduct after officers responded to a Tomahawk residence. The incident involved family members and the teen was advised any further issue could result in arrest.

A Timm Street resident reported a potential gas theft from her vehicle. The woman said she filled up her tank several days prior and hadn’t used the vehicle during that time period.

An area business reported repeated garbage bags dumped off at their receptacle. Using information found in the garbage, they were able to identify a woman. When confronted she denied dumping her garbage their, but officers gave her a warning to not do so again or risk a ticket.

A 26 year old Rhinelander man was observed walking along Wisconsin Avenue. The man was wanted for a probation hold, and the officer took him into custody. He was then transported to the Lincoln County jail.
