While they didn’t bring home a national championship, the Rhinelander Mock Trial team still had a respectable finish in the National Trial Championships in Indianapolis.
The Hodags finished with a 2-2 record, good for 24th place in the 48 team field comprised of state champions.
After defeating teams from Rhode Island and Kansas, they fell to the New Jersey representative. This left the Rhinelander squad needing a win in the final round to place in the top 10. Unfortunately they fell to powerhouse Seattle Prep from Washington, resulting in the 24th place finish. Albuquerque Academy from New Mexico won the competition.
We’ll have more on the National Championship tomorrow including individual honors.
