Tomahawk Police Department Reports

Last Friday police took a 22 year old female into custody at a Tomahawk residence. Officers were called to the location by a family member who discovered her passed out with a small child in her care. Probation and Parole was contacted and a hold was placed. The woman was then transported to the Lincoln County Jail. Police are also investigating potential neglect charges.

Police were called to an area gas station regarding an incident on the property. One of the parties involved said the other put up his fist and also made threats towards. The 37 year old man was spoken to regarding the incident and custody issues between the two. He was also given a warning for disorderly conduct.

Officers received a report of suspicious activity Saturday afternoon. The caller observed a group of teens with their faces painted, running throughout the area. Contact was made with the youths in question, they explained their were filming a zombie movie for a class project. The complaint was determined to be unfounded.

An area business employee contacted police regarding a 20 year old man whom they believed was shoplifting items valued at $8. The man was issued a citation for shoplifting and released.

Police were called to a residence for an out of control teen and custody issues. Once officers arrived at the scene the situation was calmed. The teen did receive a disorderly conduct warning, while a 46 year old male at the scene was warned to stay off of that property.

Officers will continue to follow up on a report that a woman’s wallet and keys were taken from a Wisconsin Avenue location.
