The Tomahawk School Board has narrowed their superintendent search down to two and hope to fill that position next week.
After completing initial interviews, the Tomahawk School Board has named Cheryl Baker and Steven Kolden as the two finalists. Both currently serve as superintendents in other districts; Baker in Turtle Lake and Kolden in Colby.
Later this week, the two candidates will tour the community, have a meet and greet with the public, and undertake final interviews. Baker’s meet and greet will be tomorrow, and Kolden’s Thursday. Each is at 5:30 in the High School library.
Feedback sheets will be available to share impressions of the candidates to the school board.
The board says they hope to make a final decision sometime next week.
Each candidates is vying to become the successor to departing superintendent Roger Rindo, who accepted the same position in Oconomowoc.
