The city of Tomahawk will hold a pair of special meetings tonight for the finance committee and City Council.
Both meetings are to pass the same resolution, authorizing $2,015,000 in general obligation promissory notes.
The money would be used to pay the cost of several ongoing projects in the city.
This includes interim financing of land around the site of the proposed Shopko facility, Hometown Drive street and utility improvements, and the costs of the North 4th Street improvement project.
This is the lone item on each of the respective agendas. The Finance Committee meets at 5:30, and the City Council will meet at 6:00.
