The North Fourth Street construction project in Tomahawk is “going well at this point” according to Public Works Director Mike Tolvstad.
Tolvstad stopped by the studio this morning for his weekly update on the going project. He says that crews have most of the underground work done and could be wrapping up in the next week or so.
He says that street crews could be in by the third week of July to begin work on the road surface.
With the detour, the parade route will be changed. They will begin on Washington Avenue, turn down 5th St. to Somo Avenue, head down 4th Street and the continue down Main St.
Meanwhile, the other project still in the plans for this summer, the rail road crossings are still awaiting a coordinated date between the three parties involved with the work.
