A motorcyclist was treated for injuries after striking a deer over the weekend.
The 60 year old Marathon City man was riding Friday afternoon on State Rd. 107. At around 4:30, a fawn ran onto the roadway and hit the front tire of the motorcycle. This caused the driver to lose control and skid down the highway.
The operator was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was released later that day.
