Oneida County residents will have a chance to weigh in on updates to the county ordinances regulating docks and boathouses this evening.
The county’s Planning and Development Committee will be holding a public hearing on several changes to that ordinance. The meeting will be held in Woodruff at the town hall starting at 6:00.
Changes to the pier regulations include increasing the number of benches allowed, allowing some stairs from the water, and removing safety reflector requirements.
Boathouse changes include requiring a 10 foot space from the lot line and two separate options for other changes.
