City of Tomahawk road projects continue to be on target at this time.
Public Works Director Mike Tolvstad stopped by for his weekly update on the various projects going on in the city. He says that the utility work on North 4th Street is done and WPS is finishing up some work on gas mains.
Road crews are now in removing the sand base and putting in gravel. When asked about visible work including curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, Tolvstad said that could be in the next week and half or two weeks.
At this point the road is still on target to be opened to traffic before the Fall Ride goal.
The three groups handling the railroad crossing are aiming at July 30 and 31 to work on that project.
Last week workers wrapped up the few small portions of Wisconsin Avenue and that project is now complete.
As always, the work and estimates are all tentative and weather dependent.
