Tomahawk Police officers assisted the fire department in responding to a gas leak at a residence early Monday evening. All of the occupants in the home were able to evacuate safely and the fire department was able to shut the gas off until it could be repaired. The resident was moving a stove when the line broke.

Several more thefts from vehicles this week including vehicles parked on Prospect Avenue and East Washington Avenue. Items usually found in vehicles were taken including a GPS unit and some cash. At least one of the vehicles was unsecured at the time.

A Tomahawk woman reported that approximately 20 fraudulent charges appeared on her bank report. each of the charges was between $1 and $99.

Officers are investigating after a man reported his windshield smashed in. The vehicle was parked on West Spirit Avenue when the incident occurred. There was also damage to the passenger side window.
