The head of the DNR will be stopping in Tomahawk this morning for a round table discussion.
The talk is being hosted by Representative Mary Czaja. DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp will be on hand to give an update on the overall efforts of the DNR and will also take questions and discuss area issues with everyone who attends.
Last Friday Secretary Stepp was at the fish hatchery in Woodruff to tour the facility and give updates to the states fisheries, including the Walleye Initiative aimed at increasing the fish population.
Other items likely to come up include ATV/UTV trail use, the snowmobile program, and the Bearskin Trail. Today’s roundtable will be at the Tomahawk Public Library starting at 8:30.
