Two Rhinelander males were cited after a shoplifting complaint at a Tomahawk business. The two, ages 17 and 20 will receive violations for retail theft.
Officers are investigating a vandalism complaint on Southgate Drive. The reporting party said a rock was thrown onto the patio breaking a window. Neighbors in the area were unaware of any suspicious activity.
A resident on West Leather Avenue contacted police regarding a bear in her yard. The animal, which appeared to be a cub was up in a tree. The woman was advised to remove anything that may attract the animal.
An 18 year old Tripoli man was taken into custody after a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon. The k-9 had positive hits on two locations in the car, and the male admitted to possession of drugs and paraphernalia. The driver also received a warning for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle.
Officers responded to a harassment complaint involving 2 Tomahawk women. This has been an ongoing problem between the two and there is a no-contact order. The officer informed the women to avoid each other or else they could be cited.
