There was no spill during an overnight accident involving a truck carrying fuel in Lincoln County over the weekend.
A driver of a semi tanker truck had stopped on the northbound on-ramp at County Road Q and Highway 51 at 3:30 Saturday morning. She stopped to perform a vehicle check.
While she was inspecting the semi, the brake let loose causing the trailer to roll down the ramp, breaking a fence and coming to rest in a field.
The fully loaded truck did suffer damage, but remained upright preventing any spillage. There were no injuries reported, and the driver, with the help of a wrecker, was able to get the truck out.
It took crews more than an hour and a half to clear the scene.
