The Tomahawk Ski Team, better known as the Kwahamots, came away with a 3rd place in the Division 2 Show Ski National Championships this weekend.
Fresh off of their State Championship, the Kwahamots hosted the competition, which included 14 teams from across the midwest. The Tomahawk skiers were first on the water yesterday morning in day 2 of the competition. In the end, the Kwahamots took third place overall in the competition.
One of the strong points was the jump team, led by Robb Wruck. He took 1st place in the individual jump competition held on Friday. Ryan Koth finished second in the individual jump competition. The Kwahamot Team Jump, comprised of Wruck, Koth, Greg Hilgendorf, Nick Buitron, Josh Haight and Scott Koth also finished first on Friday, winning the Team Jump Competition.
