A pair of out-of-towners were injured in separate ATV accidents this past week in the town of Harrison.
The first incident happened Thursday involving a 13 year old from Fond du Lac. His ATV crashed on a trail off of Stone Creek Rd. That accident caused a serious arm injury.
The teen was transported out of the woods and then airlifted to Ministry Saint Joseph’s in Marshfield where he remained hospitalized last night. Officials say he is listed in good condition.
A 28 year old Texas woman was injured in a crash off of Bog Lake Road Saturday morning. The preliminary report indicated the woman lost control of the machine and rolled. She was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s office, who investigated both crashes, noted that both drivers were wearing helmets at the times of their crashes.
