As the summer winds down, construction crews are continuing work on various projects throughout the Northwoods.
A new phase to construction on Highway 47 between Woodruff and Lac Du Flambeau begins today which includes a closure. That will be a 1 mile stretch of Highway 47 in Vilas County between County H and Sterns Lake Road.
The road is scheduled to re-open by the end of the month.
Work on Highway 70 in Oneida County is also continuing. That work is being done on a 7 mile stretch of road from the County Line to Morgan Road. Highway 70 will remain open at all times but their may be some flagging operations for single lane closures.
That work is scheduled for competition by the end of September.
Here in Tomahawk, crews working on Hometown Drive are scheduled to begin their work with sewer and water.
