Veterans’ Service Officers from multiple northwoods counties will be gathering next week in Rhinelander for a Benefits Expo.
The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and the Oneida County Veterans’ Service Office will hold the Expo next Saturday at the National Guard Armory in Rhinelander. Vilas and Lincoln County will also have officers at the event.
The Expo will present the opportunity for veterans to apply for federal and state VA benefits, obtain information about assisted living at a veteran’s home, get assistance in obtaining military medals and records. They’ll also provide information about VA health care and allow for pre-registration in state veterans’ cemeteries.
They will also have the Green Bay Mobile Vet Center, the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), various Veterans Service Organizations.
They are inviting all veterans, dependents and survivors to join us. The Expo will run throughout the day one week from Saturday. For more information, contact the Oneida County Veterans Service Office at (715) 369-6127.
