An Oneida County woman accused of supplying heroin that lead to the death of a man has entered a plea deal.
Court records show that 27 year old Jennifer Heiting of St. Germain was found guilty of two charges after pleading no contest. Those charges are 1st degree reckless homicide by delivery of drugs and possession of narcotics. In exchange, Judge Michael Bloom dismissed several other charges.
The criminal complaint says that Heiting provided David Stahl with heroin last December. Several days later, Stahl died of heroin toxicity on December 10.
Heiting will now await her sentencing, scheduled for January 29 according to court records.
Another man, 27 year old Richard Lewis of St. Germain is also being charged in the case with a court appearance scheduled for later this year.
