A Kenosha man may face numerous charges after a battery complaint in Lincoln County.
A deputy came across a vehicle in the ditch on North Star Drive Saturday evening. The man in the vehicle told the deputy he was waiting for assistance in removing the vehicle. As the deputy was speaking to the man, a woman with a bloodied face approached the deputy.
She said she and the suspect got into a fight at a nearby residence and she was allegedly struck in the face. She told the deputy the suspect left, put the car in the ditch and returned tot he residence and struck her again.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.
The Deputy will request charges from the district attorney including, battery, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and a felony count of strangulation / suffocation.
