The Merrill Area Public Schools will be offering a chance for families to enjoy a Northern Wisconsin Winter tomorrow.
Their school forest will be offering numerous outdoor winter activities, tours and events during the afternoon.
Organizers say “Its a chance for families to enjoy being outside together and try different winter activities.” Those activities include Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, Sledding, a Sing Along, discussions at their museum and tours and demonstrations at the Cordwood education center.
The event is sponsored by the Merrill Area Public Schools and the Friends of the Forest. It runs from 1-4pm of course all activities are weather dependent.
MAPS School Forest is located on Highway 107 across from New Wood County Park.
