Primary Day Light on the Ballot

18 Feb News

Today is primary day for the upcoming spring elections. While the ballots in northern Wisconsin are relatively light, there are still a few primary races for a few county board seats.

In Oneida County’s 7th district there are two challengers to the incumbent Bob Mott. Mott will face Dennis Schoeneck and Gregory Meyer in this run-off. The 7th district includes Enterprise, Schoepke, Monico and Piehl, along with portions of Three Lakes and Stella.

Meanwhile up in Vilas County there are a pair of primaries. In the district 15 race, which includes portions of Phelps and Conover, Steven Rhode, Steve Doyen and James Schweizer will be running. The 21st district race includes: Incumbent Kathleen Rushlow, Kim Simac, and Christine Caz. That district includes a portion of the town of Lincoln.

In each of the races, the top two vote-getters will move on to the April General Election.
