On the coldest day in the history of the event, plenty of brave teams still took a dip into Lake Mohawksin for a good cause.
On Saturday afternoon Kinship of Tomahawk held their 11th annual Polar Plunge. The contestants wore costumes ranging from Olympians to full camouflage.
In the end organizers say they raised more than $7,000. For the second consecutive year Drs. Bobbi and Grace with Team Allied Health won the pledge collection. Their team collected more than $2,300 in pledges.
Second place went to the Polar Platoon and third to Team Kinship. Stacy Daigle received the most pledges for non-jumpers, bringing home the “Too Chicken” trophy.
