One man was injured following a snowmobile accident this weekend near Tomahawk.
Officials say the 70 year old male victim was traveling near Somo Dam Drive at just after4pm Saturday. Witnesses told investigators the driver lost control of his sled and struck a snowbank.
The sled then rolled on top of the man. A medical helicopter was initially requested, but later canceled. The man was treated locally and has since been released.
The DNR investigated the incident and determined that alcohol was not a factor. No action was indicated.
