A Merrill woman is in jail, facing charges she plotted to kill her on again/off again boyfriend.
Jessica A. Strom appeared in Marathon County Court yesterday for her first appearance. The 33 year old is facing charges of conspiracy to commit first degree intentional homicide according to court records.
She’s accused of trying to arrange the crime through a former college classmate. That classmate contacted police, then met with Strom in Wausau. The complaint says that’s where Strom allegedly offered $1,000 cash and sex in exchange for shooting the man.
She was arrested late last week, at which time she told police she was not serious according to the police report.
Strom remains jailed after the judge set a $250,000 cash bond. Her next court appearance is scheduled for March 12.
