A Tomahawk man accused of shooting his brother-in-law in the shoulder made his initial appearance in Lincoln County Court.
Sixty eight year old Charles Lawn has now been formally charged with three felonies including attempted first degree intentional homicide, recklessly endangering safety, and aggravated battery. Court records also indicate misdemeanors for operating a firearm while intoxicated and intentionally pointing a firearm at a person.
Lawn was arrested after Tomahawk police officers responded to a 53 year old man that was struck in the shoulder with a small caliber bullet following an argument. The victim was treated at an area hospital.
Lawn is being held on $70,000 bond. His next court activity is a scheduling conference on April 17.
