A Merrill man accused of killing his wife appeared in Lincoln County Court yesterday in the lead up to his trial later this month.
Mark Bucki is facing charges including first degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. He previously pleaded not guilty to those charges. His wife Anita Bucki went missing last spring; her body was found several weeks later in Taylor County.
According to court records, yesterday’s motion hearing involved the juror selection process. Other motions made yesterday include language used by the attorneys during the trial, previous statements made and admissible evidence. Many of those decisions will be held over until Friday according to court records.
The trial is slated to begin next Monday.
