After plenty of discussion at previous meetings, the Lincoln County Board passed a feasibility study for the fairgrounds rather quickly.
Up for vote last night was the request for funding to commission $50,000 in insurance money to conduct a feasibility study of the property. It is designed to give a comprehensive look at the fairgrounds, business models and structures.
At last month’s meeting, the resolution was laid over until the actual request for proposal was completed. Those documents were included in this months board packet.
One amendment was made, which pushed the time line back another month with an October completion. Ultimately the resolution passed unanimously.
