This time it was the area residents delivering for the Post Office.
The Tomahawk and Irma Post Offices recently joined post offices across the country, in conducting their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The Drive has once again been deemed a success.
According to Postmaster Alan Bishop, local carriers collected 7,100 pounds of food that have been distributed to local community food pantries. That’s up from last year’s total of 6,700.
Bishop thanks everyone who participated in the collection, noting that it clearly shows the generosity of everyone involved.
