A Wausau man accused of bringing drugs into a court room has pleaded no contest.
Thirty year old Kurtis Cline was making a court appearance in Oneida County last month when he was observed pulling a baggie out of his pants and tried placing it under his chair. The baggie contained methamphetamine, and he was charged with possession of the drug.
Yesterday’s no contest plea resulted in a guilty ruling by the Judge. Several bail jumping charges were dismissed.
According to court records, lawyers on both sides requested an adjournment for sentencing until cases in other counties have been resolved. Cline has a court appearance in Lincoln County scheduled for today.
