Wednesday,
March 26, 2008
She fought to the very end. Lincoln County Coroner Paul Proulx released results of the autopsy on 25-year-old Rochelle Anderson of Irma.
Proulx reports that Anderson died as a result of severe blunt head trauma and sharp force injury. Coroner Proulx told WJJQ News that the autopsy indicated that the beating by the killer was so severe; that she may have died prior to the stab wounds being inflicted.
The autopsy was completed Tuesday morning in Madison. There were up to seven knife wounds to her back. Proulx also added that injuries suffered to both of Rochelle Anderson’s arms were consistent with a struggle with the killer.
The brutal murder occurred on Saturday night at Zephyr Fuel on North Fourth Street in Tomahawk where she had recently been hired as a clerk.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Chief of Police Don Johnson indicated that there was no new information to release in his department’s investigation. He said they continue to follow up on multiple leads in the case.
The funeral for the 25-year-old mother of a young daughter is Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at the Krueger and Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk.
