Mosinee Weather Shield rejects contract

Just a few days after Park Falls workers approved a contract with Weathershield, the workers in Mosinee rejected theirs.

Several workers said the rejected contract eliminated holiday pay and company matching payments to worker's 401(k).

The Park Falls workers approved their contract on Monday which would freeze their wages the next two years. They rejected the first contract offered.

Weather Shield did not say if they are still planning to consolidate work at another facility in Medford, or if work will be shifted between the two locations because of the contract talks.
