Tomahawk EMS, Fire and a deputy
responded to Highway 8 and Tannery Rd Tuesday night after a 1 vehicle crash was
reported. The initial call indicated the 43 year old driver was incoherent. The
Tomah woman denied medical transport. She told the deputy she thought she was
turning onto County Rd. Y but ended up in the ditch. She was given a ride to a
nearby cabin by the deputy.
A 33 year old Tomahawk man was arrested Thursday afternoon
for a probation violation after a deputy investigated a dispute in Tomahawk.
Tomahawk police requested assistance after a disturbance was reported on West
Wisconsin Ave. The man was brought to the Lincoln County Jail on the order of
his probation agent after he broke a mirror during the incident.
A 17 year old Tomahawk man was arrested Saturday evening on
felony warrants in the Town of Pine River. Deputies were on a separate
investigation on Bittersweet Lane earlier in the day when they saw
acquaintances of the suspect coming and going from a home. Later that evening,
deputies returned and saw the man inside the home watching TV. After some time
he came out and turned himself over to deputies. He was brought to the jail and
held on warrants for burglary and theft.
A 29 year old Tomahawk man was
arrested yesterday afternoon on a warrant charge. A deputy stopped a vehicle on
Wilson School Rd. in the town of Wilson at just after 4. A check on the license
plate showed the owner was wanted. The man was taken into custody on the Oneida
County warrant for contempt of court. He was brought to the Tomahawk Police
Department where he posted bond and was released.
