An area business reported a woman in the store placing items into her purse. An officer spoke with the 84 year old woman, who said she had too many items to hold in her hands, so she put them in her purse until she checked out. After speaking with the owner, the woman paid for the items in the purse and was advised to use a basket next time.

A 25 year old man reported that he and his girlfriend were receiving harassing texts from a 31 year old woman. When contacted, the 31 year admitted sending the texts, but as a response to texts from the man. She also said the man showed up at her residence banging on the door. Officers advised both parties to stop contacting each other and issued warnings to both.

A woman called reporting that a boat had been taken from her yard. She described the vehicle to police. It was later determined that the man who took the boat was the owner and that the woman was holding it to get items of hers back.

On Wednesday the Tomahawk Fire Department responded to a small fire on Lily Lake Road. A tree being cut down fell on the power line and broke one of the lines. This caused sparks and a small fire. Fire fighters protected the area until WPS arrived.
